The Best in Comedy show debuts at The Spotlight in Hoddesdon, with an amazing featuring the wonderful Sara Pascoe, Jack Skipper, Angela Barnes & Thanyia Moore!
Sara Pascoe decided she wanted to be famous at 14 years old. Since then, she has auditioned for Barrymore, scared Pete Burns and ruined Hugh Grant’s birthday - but look at her now… (please look, she needs you to look. And clap. And laugh. And then clap again).
She wrote and starred in her recent BBC 2 sitcom Out Of Her Mind, and is the celebrated host of BBC 2’s The Great British Sewing Bee, BBC’s Last Woman on Earth, Dave’s Comedians Giving Lectures and Comedy Central’s Guessable.

Jack Skipper, hailing from South London, has recently gone from a carpet fitter with no qualifications to blowing up, becoming an internet sensation and full-time comedian.
Whether telling stories of life as a family man or observations on working-class life, his everyday guy persona has gained an impressive following on social media, with over 14 million likes on TikTok alone and 360,000 followers on Instagram.

After a career in health and social care, Angela Barnes took the plunge and embarked on her life-long dream to be a comedian. Within just a couple of years she had won the BBC New Comedy Award in 2011 and has now gone on to star in BBC Two’s Mock The Week, Live At The Apollo and Hypothetical on Dave.

Thanyia Moore is an award-winning comedian, best known for her fiercely commanding stage persona and razor sharp wit.
Winner of the national Funny Women Awards, Thanyia has gone on to build an impressive list of TV credits including, Mock the Week, Mo Gilligan’s Black, British and Funny, Richard Osman's House of Games, Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled and Big Narstie Show to name a few.
