BArts Presents Let’s Do Lunch Friday 12th June at 12pm. Tickets £18 English a Language for the World: The English language has evolved from the Celtic tribes, Romans, Anglo-Saxons, Vikings and Normans. From the C16, our colonisation expanded to become the British Empire and many foreign words were added to offer an extensive, expressive means of communication and fine shades of meaning.
